Vast stretches of America are shrinking more each day
As people there who voted for Trump die or move away
In county after rural county writing on the wall
Clearly shows Republicans are headed for a fall.

Census data just come in shows why the GOP
Is cheating every way they can to avoid destiny

As the growing minority already without chance

Of winning elections without voter suppression’s dance.

90 percent of all rural counties that now slump

In population in the past voted for Donald Trump

But now the old white voters in them are fading away

As census data indicates the coming hell to pay.

Republican minorities won’t tale loss lying down

So if their gerrymandering does not turn things around

Combined with vote suppression and other chicanery 

Another ‘not an insurrection’ riot we may see.

Republicans are desperate to maintain their power base

But the new census figures have blown up right in their face

And so as population shifts shift their power away

They’ll fight more desperately to maintain minority sway.

The final outcome of vote loss is not hard to predict

Republicans will do all they can to make power stick

To them and not be given to increased majorities

Of multi-cultural citizens forced down to their knees.

How long minority rule can be maintained none can say

But the Republicans should keep France in mind on the way

To the day knees they’ve suppressed stand en masse and say “no more”

And blood runs in the streets majority rule to restore.
