So They Say

So they say, that’s what I’m told, that’s how it was explained
From what I’m told that’s what they say, I’ve just said it again!!!
I NEVER say that’s what I say, I say what’s said to ME
Which gives ME ALL the cover I need to LIE constantly!!!
Because if it is what I have been told they say they say
And EVERYONE they say said it then it MUST be OK!!!

If I say I said it then you would say it came from ME
And if you could then “prove” it “false” I would accused be!!!
But since I say they said it then if it’s “proven” “untrue”
You CANNOT accuse ME of saying it, therefore SCREW YOU!!!
MY “So-They-Say” approach lets ME say ANYTHING I choose
While saying I did NOT say it to ensure I CAN’T “lose”!!!

MY “So-They-Say” approach also ensures when things go south
You cannot blame them on one “word” you heard out of MY mouth
Because ALL things MY mouth said I say were first said to ME
Or so I have been told they say as was explained, you see???
EVERY TIME I say they say it “PROVES” MY GENIUS!!!
You CAN’T BLAME ME for saying things they say that make a MESS!!
