I’m sitting here ALONE “working”, poor ME and lucky you
I have to “work” to save MY country, you get bubble brew
You get to party while I sit here tweeting up a storm
To prove how VERY HARD I’m “working” while feeling forelorn
But I don’t BLAME you, have a happy happy brand new year
Ignore your lonely “President” who’s sadly “working” here.

I said that I would BUILD THE WALL and it IS going up
A section at a time to HOARDS OF IMMIGRANTS!!! disrupt
There’s NOTHING like a good old-fashioned WALL to stop sick “kids”
And TERRORISTS from getting in and “living” in our midst
AND MEXICO IS PAYING FOR MY WALL AS I HAVE CLAIMED!!!
Through Great “trade deals” that I ALONE got differently named.

Speaking of names, I should be called a “NATIONAL HERO”
For working hard on New Year’s Eve while you to parties go
Down at MY place in Florida they’re drinking pink champagne
While to ensure we remain SAFE I in D.C. remain
“Working” throughout the long dark night tweet-storming ALL-CAP shots
Until Fox Friends come back on air to feed ME today’s thoughts.

I HATE it here, it’s dark and wet and I’m SURE it WILL snow
Despite the FAKE NEWS “temperature” of 60+ or so
Denying “global warming” is for ME full-time job
That is one reason why I have NO time to go hob-nob
SOMEBODY has to “hold the fort” and that SOMEBODY’s ME

To HELL with “slats”, ONLY OLD-FASHIONED SEE-THROUGH WALLS I’ll cheer.
