Rain Check

It’s RAINING!! Those wet graves are in a RAIN belt!!
Somebody with MY “character” could get melt
If I get exposed to water from the sky
Remember that bucket thrown by that small fry?
And even a Genius finds some things hard
“Umbrellas” are right at the top of MY card.

I have guys who open “umbrellas” for ME
I guess they get closed up eventually
But you can’t expect ME to learn things arcane
When so much crap already clutters MY brane
So what if ALL other “world leaders” came through?
“Umbrellas” were involved so what could I do?

Besides, those soldiers died a long time ago
Way back before ME. Why the hell would I go
To honor the “fallen” on “Arm...” something day?
THEY can’t honor ME from graves buried away
When I came here last time I got a parade!
That’s what soldiers owe ME, that’s why they get paid.

It’s NOT “real low energy”, I just don’t care
Especially when RAIN can mess up MY hair
Who cares if “world leaders” are upset! Whoopie!
The LEADER who counts AS ALL KNOW’s ONLY ME
Let others “pay tribute” in pouring down rain
I’m too Great to fight with “umbrellas” again.

I came to “France” after that election mess
Because of some dumb war that happened, I guess
At least that’s what they told ME on Air Force One
But nobody warned ME there wouldn’t be sun
It’s RAINING!! And those “troops” are long ago dead!!!
Why should I get out of MY warm hotel bed?

Dead long ago wet solders can’t Honor ME
So why are complaints coming at high degree?
When I come to “France” I get Honored, OK?
For ME Honor only works running one way
Who cares if solders died in France “not in vain”?
THEY should Honor ME, I am dealing with RAIN!
