Leaf Management

I went and saw those burned-out California towns, OK?
And after seeing that destruction here’s MY take-away:
It is FOREST MISMANAGEMENT!!!, it is NOT by “climate change”
That made those fires in that state burn with such red hot rage
If they just raked more leaves up like the “Finnish” people do
No matter what the “climate” does fires there would be few.

Nothing that I saw while out there made ME change MY mind
The place can have YOUR “empathy” but it will NOT get MINE
The ONLY thing I feel about their towns is “apathy”
I don’t care about fires that don’t hurt MY property
Just pass a couple leaf rakes out and make survivors work
While I blame “forest management” for being such a jerk.

I went, I saw, I spread blame, and I denied “climate change”
That’s it, I’m done, time to move on and turn another page
That’s why I am so very proud to announce here today
MY fine selection to head up the so-called EPA
Former coal lobbyist Wheeler’s done such a Great job there
If there’s a better candidate than him I’m unaware.

So hurry up, put Wheeler in, he’s got just what it takes
Like ME he agrees to stop fires all you need is rakes
His former role as tout for coal is to ME a big plus
He’ll deny “climate change” like ME without making a fuss
As for “forest mismanagement” I’ll fire EVERYONE
Forests will NOT need “management” once leaf raking’s begun.
