The spotlight’s shifted to McCain, McCain ALL day and night
It’s no longer focused on ME and that is just NOT RIGHT!
I MUST be at it’s center of attention night and day
It’s NOT FAIR now that dead McCain has taken it away
I have to get it back again, but how? That is the rub...
I know! I’ll blame FAKE NEWS again now Fox has joined that club.

I count on Fox to feed ME MY “agenda” every day
Each morning, noon, and night it tells ME what to think, OK?
But now it too has “flipped” on ME, for much to MY chagrin
It’s broadcasting “tributes” to John McCain! How can I WIN?
When Friends on Fox flip stories about McCain gone to heaven
They aren’t keeping their spotlight fixed on ME 24 7.

I have to get that spotlight firmly fixed on ME again
But if I attack Fox I’ll lose MY only TV friend
I’ll have to play this carefully, I can’t appear TOO crass
When I start kicking Fox around for its new FAKE NEWS sass
To get the focus back on ME I somehow MUST attack...
Maybe claiming this dumb death FAKE will swing MY spotlight back.
