Full Mast

MY White House Flag is flying proudly at full mast again
To celebrate MY return from another golf weekend
“They” made ME lower it to honor McCain now he’s dead
But NOT one second longer now that I am back, I said
Just like the Queen in England when she is in residence
MY flag I demand to fly high regardless of expense.

“They” worry I will pay a price for that flag now back up
The Hell with “optics”, I won’t let McCain’s death MINE disrupt
ALL KNOW I hated him alive, now he’s dead even more
I will NOT say his name no matter how much “they” implore
I’m PROUD to be the most vindictive bastard ever known
And for MY treatment of McCain I’ve nothing to atone.

I refused to issue a statement lauding him with praise
Instead I sent a tweet that was as bland as mayonnaise
To offer “deepest sympathy” did not cost ME one dime
Besides I sent it to his family, NOT that foe of mine
I’ll keep putting NcCain down even ‘though he is no more
I’ll WIN by staying vengeful past death to settle this score.
