Press Bashing

I’m sending “thoughts and prayers” again although I am NOT blue
FAKE NEWS “reporters” should be shot as MY pundits tell you
I have disparaged “free press” each day since I got this job
So don’t expect newspaper deaths to wring from ME a sob
To stay on top dictators need to rail against FAKE NEWS
So despite “thoughts and prayers” I’m glad there’s now less to abuse.

The fast track to dictatorship must be strewn with all those
Who dare challenge and criticize the Emperor’s new clothes
Press Bashing is a full time job that must be done each day
The minute that “news” hits the street it must be mocked, OK?
My goal is to convince MY Base only MY words are TRUE
So it’s OK with ME that now “reporters” are more few.

“Thoughts and prayers” are cheap enough to on each death get pasted
But like ME MY fine Base can’t read so who cares who got wasted?
It’s not like there has been a shooting of MY Foxy Friends
If that had happened I’d be screaming loud “THIS SH*T NOW ENDS!”
But taking out a few “free press reporters” is OK
It means there’s less “free press” to challenge each TRUE FACT I say.
