Ego Boost

ALL KNOW that I am always right and therefore never wrong
So I knew Little Rocket Man and I would get along
Birds of a feather flock together, bullies do also
And in our case there was no place but upwards left to go.

The hate I had expressed for him melted like morning dew
Because he was so much like ME completely through and through
We hit it off Tremendously, we’re BFFs for life
At least until I say we aren’t due to some future strife.

But just for now I “love” that guy, BELIEVE YOU ME I do
FAKE NEWS says we “accomplished” nothing, ALL KNOW that’s NOT TRUE!
We met for many minutes without coming once to blows
And he’s agreed to “disarm” someday, somehow, I suppose.

I admit what he got from ME seems to be a lot
“War Games” with South Korea end without firing a shot
And he can now claim “parity” with me on the “world stage”
But I can claim that “history” has turned a new TRUMP page!

The way things “worked” before were NOT working, as ALL could see
Each so-called “ally” kept treating us very unfairly
While so-called “enemies” were acting like I always do
I can relate to screams of hate and threats and anger too.

I realized all so-called “foes” on ME had been imposed
So it was time this Emperor tried on some brand new clothes
It’s proving hard to “drain the swamp” at “home” (it’s very deep)
But throwing “allies” under busses so far has proved cheap.

And making “friends” with former “enemies” is just MY style
I say I “love” them and then later them again revile
“Love” and “hate” and “hate” and “love” are all the same to ME
As long as I can stir the pot I’m happy as can be.

Causing conflict MY whole life has been MY only goal
I enjoy it when conflict I’ve created takes its toll
It reinforces MY opinion of how Great I am
And that’s why rearranging “world order” is now MY Plan.

Within a month MY hate for North Korea will return
And “Canada” I’ll “love” again as once again I turn
It does not matter who I “love” and who I say must go
Because each time I shake things up MY EGO gets to grow.
