Lots of theories circulate about why A-Hole wants

To make Greenland a place where Northern expansionism romps

Let’s forget Canada and Panama interests expressed

For now and concentrate on why with Greenland he’s obsessed.

Does his motive have to do with military might

Or is it just distraction from his clown cabinet fight?

Is securing rare earth metals the reason he wants it

Or is it for alliance with his pal Vlad that he flaunts it?

Each such motive’s possible and surely most agree

They’re all more logical than alien technology

Or climate change with which conspiracy theorists mess

Because they’re convinced A-Hole plays four dimensional chess.

But real estate is the motive that gets this poet’s vote

Because aside from bankruptcies that’s all he’s done of note

And Greenland is a vast land his vast ego could hope make

Home to ten thousand cheap-built towers each one his namesake.
