Bye Bye

Shed a tear for Kari Lake who’s finished and kaput
For her to be ambassador to Mexico is moot
A-Hole has passed her over and he won’t be coming back
To her again to place her on an embassy’s fast track
One hopes this will be the last poem ever written of her
But given the insanity of MAGA that’s unsure.

Her goal to be a lightweight female A-Home had been to

Claim just like him she won and was robbed and boo hoo hoo

Which might have worked except she made one stupid dumb mistake

By overstaying her time at his Florida estate

Where he apparently got bored with her hanging around

Or maybe Melania told her to pavements pound.

Whatever the reason (we may never know for sure)

She back to Arizona went to once again injure

Her standing with the state’s voters who really hate her guts

Because even the MAGAs know she is completely nuts

And so she lost a second time but less that time did say

She was robbed because she thought ambassadorship on the way.

For a fleeting news cycle daily rumors reported

To Mexico as ambassador she might soon be transported

But those rumors subsided quickly when reporters found

A-Hole passed her up by giving the job to some clown

Who in his opinion was more appropriate because

He wasn’t female so did not give Melania pause.

And so let’s hope this is the final poem about Ms. Lake

Democratus must ever write because it’s hard to fake

More interest in a lightweight wannabe who got nowhere

Because she hung around too long in Mar-A-Lago’s lair

Where women come and women go and none know what they do

Except in her case where stroking his ego there she blew.
