That early voting has become the go-to they adore
Since the COVID pandemic brought mail-ins to the fore
In record numbers early voters are now turning out
Even among Republicans (so they say though Dems doubt).

Election Day is only two weeks away! OMG!
That may not be enough time for Trump’s dementia to rob
Him of enough coherence to convince some vote mass
That maybe it’s not a great idea to elect an ass
Who can’t string lucid thoughts together in meaningful ways
Thus influencing voting in fourteen remaining days.
Election Day is just two weeks away and closing fast
Will democracy survive after those weeks have passed
Or will fascism be elected by conned masses who
Have made of Trump a religion due to lies gotten through
If early voting increases our future nation’s course
May be revealed earlier than votes usually force.
