Ground Game

Getting out the vote is crucial if you want to win
Especially when the vote count seems to be very slim
Between yourself and your opponent so if you don’t pound
On every door to votes implore to defeat you’ll be bound
And that may be where GOP candidates will now head
Because instead of ground game they are blowing it instead.

Getting out the vote is where the rubber hits the road

If your side’s hoping it can make it’s vote tally explode

But that means a good ground game you must pursue ceaselessly

Or else loss will be what your campaign finds as destiny

And that destiny is where soon Republicans may find

Themselves because in getting out the vote they lag behind.

Getting out the vote takes more than old repeated lies

After your lies and liar every cultist deifies

Because those lies aren’t getting through to non-cultists remaining

Who’ll remain undecided if your ground game’s not them claiming

Especially when the guy you want to win stops you getting

Out that vote by your ground game not aiding or abetting.

Getting out the vote your side needed to start to do

Many months ago and by not doing so you screw

Your chance to advance Dear Leader you’re determined to place

On a throne to what’s left of democracy erase

So without any ground game getting out win votes I guess

Your ground game’s to claim vote fraud while state toads blue votes suppress.
