What We’ve Got To Lose

New Yorkers at a rally (those still there he’d not made snooze)
Heard Trump’s call for votes asking them “What have you got to lose?”
Given all we lost during his inept four year reign
It’s easy to catalog what more from us he’d drain
If cheating MAGA bastards get him elected again
So here below’s a list to show what we’d to say amen.

Obviously Democracy will be the main thing we

Have got to lose if vote deniers through duplicity

Get Trump elected despite votes that against him amass

In numbers greater than those that once kicked Goldwater’s ass

So at the top of the list of what we have got to lose

Will be Democracy which we’ll no longer get to choose.

The main thing on the list of things that females have to lose

Will be control of their bodies men will get to abuse 

Without consequences - men’s control will be complete

Over women because Trump thinks groping them is neat

And rape is the fault and total responsibility

Of women who invite it by being dressed so slutty.

Another main thing every man and woman’s got to lose

Is what’s left of environmental health Trump will abuse

By letting robber baron buddies do to Planet Earth

The same thing men to women’s bodies do that leads to birth

Eventually no one will still be able to survive

On a planet dominated by capitalist drive.

Many more specific things we’ve got to lose could be

Listed but for now let’s end this list with the big three

Losses above that will descend with great vengeance upon

America if Trump is not defeated by a throng

Of voters in the greatest landslide vote that’s ever been

That blocks MAGA efforts to through cheating get him in.
