A Ditty For Democracy

Democracy stands on the brink
And it could drain straight down the sink
Without too much liberals can do
Except vote exclusively blue
To help throttle Trump’s MAGA throat
To fill orange skin with blue bloat.

Democracy is headed down 
And it may not still be around
Much longer if the wannabe
Runs and cultist insanity
Lets him all not-MAGA re-screw
If enough red vanquishes blue.

Democracy will not survive 
If red votes let MAGA more thrive
Up on the Hill and also to
The Supreme Court pack more askew
With more like those now there who dare
To rule of law asunder tear.

Democracy may yet endure

If enough votes remaining pure

Can overcome the growing trend

Of tyranny’s aggressive blend

And truth defeats lie-driven fear

To MAGA throw out on its ear.
