Spending more time fighting than governing isn’t how
Republicans want their party remembered years from now
But that’s how it will be when future historians think
About infighting driving our poor nation to the brink
Of tyranny begun when down his golden escalator 
Trump descended with his whore to be hate’s instigator.

Spending more time fighting than governing isn’t cool

If Republicans don’t want to be infighting’s tool

While those they oppose use their inability to govern

In media blitzes that stuff win chances in the oven

Of public opinion and turn those chances to toast

Because infighting’s no accomplishment of which to boast.

Spending more time fighting than governing isn’t wise

If Republicans want to be more than Dems despise

Because the GOP’s sane members grown so sick and tired

Of what extremist Freedom Caucus nutcases transpired

Have begun quitting in droves that are likely to increase

As elections approach and infighting doesn’t cease.
