Let’s make Congress violent again! It’s headed there already
What with three incidents last week and hatred holding steady
As the emotion dominating bullies on the right
Who at the drop of perceived insult threaten a fistfight
If they don’t get their way which they so often lately don’t
Which makes them want to place chokeholds around opponents’ throat.

Let’s make Congress violent again by legalizing wrath

That since Trump came down golden stairs set his cult on hate’s path

The venom he sprays verbally at vermin he names foes

Has coated Congress thick enough to sadism expose

And replaced verbal attack with lack of physical constraint

To expose its underbelly of extremist hate.

Let’s make Congress violent again! Spit tobacco and canes

Let’s reinstate to end debate from which anger refrains

Let’s arm all those now dancing around physical abuse

By replacing words with crushed skulls that set blood flow loose

Let Congress become a war zone where bullies can display

Lack of restraint by at vermin foe skulls swinging away.
