Like alcoholics before they’ll to AA meetings go
Republicans must hit rock bottom before some can know

Their Freedom Caucus they’ve allowed to dig them down below

Has made their chance of climbing out of the hole they’ve dug blow
And they may never win elections fair or foul again
No matter how much upon vote suppression they depend.

Republicans must hit rock bottom ‘ere some comprehend

There’s no place lower down to dig in the hole they have dug

And no ladder to climb or hanging rope on which to tug

Have they prepared so trapped deep down they are without Plan B

Or cavalry over hills above come to set them free.

Republicans must hit rock bottom ‘ere some grow aware

The distance deep they’ve let extremists dig them down they’ll know

As the rock bottom deepest hole descent down’s made them go

And in that hole they let nuts dig them down in deep they’ll find

The world moves on above those left down stupid holes behind.
