Cowardly Treason’s Course

It really couldn’t have happen to a more inept guy:
The so-called “Freedom Caucus” will McCarthy’s ass soon fry
He’s damned if he does go to Democrats to gain support
And through them loses speakership to gov shutdown abort 
And damned if he does not appeal for aid from Dems and so
Lets a long shutdown bury the U.S. six feet below.

If McCarthy had a spine that caucus he would tell:

America comes first with me, you jerks can go to Hell

And with the Democrats remove the shutdown threat they pose

To our country and accept the risk he’d thereby expose

To his position because actual patriotism

Is the opposite of what the caucus claims brought schism.

But McCarthy is a coward so I guarantee

He’ll place saving his speakership above saving country

And keep kowtowing to the caucus until shutdown comes

And then drags on indefinitely because corrupt scums

Backed by the biggest most corrupt scumbag the world’s yet seen

Won’t give an inch which will prolong consequences obscene.

There was a time when the two sides of the House worked together

Through give and take and compromise to disagreements weather

But that was before cowards to a tyrant bent their knee

And to preserve their power caused our poor democracy

To desperately try to survive onslaughts they on it force

Because perk preservation sets cowardly treason’s course.
