‘Till recently no policy platform did they propose
Except to win rigged elections and their treason expose
But now Rick Scott is proposing an eleven-point plan
McConnell hopes will get thrown into Congress’ trash can.
The essence of Scott’s proposal is to make the poor pay
Their “fair share” of taxes so the rich can squirrel away
Thanks to tax breaks passed by Republicans wealth they’ve amassed
Which as McConnell understands has no chance getting past
Anyone poor except those sending in their small donation
Every time Trump says he needs more to save their great nation.
Scott’s other points are a typical GOP wish list
Like declaring two genders only upon earth exist
And putting parents alone in charge of what kids should learn
But taxing the poor to help the rich is the point to spurn
By smart Republicans who hope to ever win again
And have always preyed on the poor but not writ large by pen.
Republicans are not your friends again I’m telling you
Unless billions of bucks through tax breaks you’re sure to accrue
Or have accrued already with a lot more still to come
As long as you pretend poor people are to you not scum
That’s why Scott’s use of poor as punching bag was a surprise
To rich Republicans pulling the wool over poor eyes.
