Sandy Legacy

The House of Trump is crumbling or so his critics say
Because it’s built on sand that waves have come to wash away
And lots of waves from New York State now starting to appear
Will wash Trump’s shaky empire right off it’s sandy rear.

Inflated valuations of golf courses are the key

Along with extreme overvalued mansion property

And Trump Tower square footage three times greater that there found

To washing away the foundations of the House of Clown.

As the investigation into tax dodging increases

You can bet “Witch Hunt” will again be heard in Trump’s speeches

But he’s a one trick pony and that one trick’s wearing thin

To all but his diminished cult much less than it had been.

So hope springs yet eternal that finally this time around

New York’s waves will make Trump’s sand castles come crashing down

And leave behind in history a fading memory

Of one more Ozymandias’ sandy legacy.
