State’s Rights

Another southern governor, this time some old white broad
Has decreed she finds nothing in vaccines she can applaud
And has told her state agencies to fight against mandates
Because rules set by governments not run by Trump she hates.

Alabama is her state and it is no surprise
That in that deep red state less than half may hope to survive

Only 44% to date have got the shot

And she’s now made it easier for those without to rot.

“State’s Rights” are in the news again a second time around

As now slow moving Civil War at unity does pound

Because Dear Leader Donald Trump is no longer in charge

Of government red southern states approve of by and large.

And that lack of approval at the way things now get run

By those whose fake fraud votes cheated their sacred Chosen One

Has spread from Deep South to Midwest and out to Far West too

Where Governors work overtime state residents to screw.

Unvaccinated people at five times the going rate

Of those who get shots now drop dead because red states equate

Vaccines with loss of “freedom” of their sovereign right to kill

Themselves and all those around them their “State’s Rights” to fulfill.
