Far Beyond Dumb

It’s been awhile since Ted Cruz did something completely dumb
Like escaping to Cancun to enjoy warm surf and sun
While those he claims he represents sat freezing in their home
Because their independent power grid was breakdown prone
So could not handle a cold snap engulfing the whole state
Which did not bother Cancun Cruz who’s suntanning went great.

Dumb becomes more dumber in increasing dumb degree

Until far beyond dumb it becomes dumb as it can be

And that’s Ted Cruz for criticizing Joe’s vacation stay

By reminding his voters of the time he flew away

To suntan while they shivered which he’s now helped them remember

By mentioning Cancun in retweet Joe’s trip to dismember.

Stupid is as stupid does and Ted Cruz is the guy

Who to his role as idiot no others need apply

Because he thought it would be cute if Cancun in retweet

He used to criticize Joe for a vacation retreat

Far beyond dumb is the place he has travelled to to dwell

Which he considers cute but less dumb see as dumb as hell.
