All Life Does

Everyone talks about weather come sun, rain, or snow
But until recently no one did anything to slow
Whatever it was doing down or change in any way
The weather weather threw at us whatever came our way
But as it is now turning out indeed we all did do
Things to the weather that we, our kids, and grandkids will screw.

Although they will continue pushing the hoax they adore

Extreme heat is something that even skeptics can’t ignore

Rain falling on Greenland’s snow summit is the latest sign

That changing weather patterns now head far away from fine

And beachfront property like Jared and Ivanka bought

Will soon be places those who fish find fishes can be caught.

Rich folks moving to mountaintops while poor swelter below

Will claim they’re not to blame for allowing the incread flow

Of carbon from their factories and profits from their wells

And mines from turning places poor live into living hells

And for awhile they may survive as hells heat up below

But heat rises, a fact that they will soon come well to know.

Imagine if you will Trump again on his golden throne

Thanks to fake vote insanity to which his conned cult’s prone

And funds from right-wing billionaires who all know a good thing

Is to elect as President a tool who’ll help them swing

The tipping point life’s headed for into its highest gear

Because their profits trump the heat hell their grandkids will fear.

If Trump gets re-elected life on earth won’t stand a chance

Of reversing the tipping point towards which it does dance

He’ll reappoint industry hacks who’ll hasten the demise

Of land’s and sea’s and air’s destruction right before our eyes

His claim that only he alone can earth’s destruction stop 

Will speed the time it takes life’s tipping point to overtop.

It is very late in the game to turn the trend around

That humans have brought on themselves as in heat waves we drown

And rain falls where snow always reigned and ocean levels rise

And our green life-sustaining planet dies before our eyes

The tipping point for life on earth draws closer every day

And right-wing claims of climate change hoax speed heat death life’s way.

Life’s chances now are slim to none and if Trump gets back in

Instead of just democracy taking it on the chin

All life on earth will to its end be hastened by return

Of Trump unto the Presidency for which he does yearn

So the next time you go to vote vote against Trump because

More than your life alone depends on your vote, all life does.
