On The Ropes

Joe Biden is on the ropes after his bad debate

“Replacement” is the word bandied about of him of late

His followers all feel depressed, gloom in them does prevail

Republicans are confident to victory they’ll sail

But even though it’s looking grim for Dems after that night

They need to call out Trump for the lies he spewed left and right.

Everything Trump said that night was a damnable lie

Which CNN allowed to by not fact checking get by

The bottom line is that although Joe grows older each day

His mind’s still good enough to not let lies get in the way

Of what he hears and says and does what knows is just not true

Unlike his lying opponent who constant lies must spew.

It does not matter to Trump’s cult he lies, like him they live

In an alt-world reality from one where take and give

Debate is based on facts from which Dear Leader none are heard

Amidst the hyperbole in each pig lip spewed word

But all non cultists clearly hear in the real world they live

How obvious the lying is those pig lips always give.

If Trump wins all that’s true will suffer as new lies start falling

Each day again as they did when for four long years appalling

30,000+ lies piled up each awful day

The pathological liar did our country betray

So let’s get back up from the floor where we have been knocked down

And call out lies for what they are before we in them drown.
