NOBODY “dangled” ANYTHING!!! That’s NOT something we do!!!
We simply shared a Great, Tremendous “country” SONG or two
Lyin’ Mike was VERY UPSET, so to calm him down
Some Garth Brooks lyrics we SANG to him about friends around
It was the “human” thing to do, our SONG to HELP him LIVE
To share a SONG with such a DEAR FRIEND was our PRIVILEGE.

The White House had become a gloomy, “solemn “ place of late
With lies and counter-lies of lies that were NOT going Great
A tangled web of contradictions from each talking head
Who did NOT have one single clue what each other had said
To remain calm amidst CHAOS SINGING is what I do
And so I’ve encouraged MY gang to sing a SONG or two.

As WITCH HUNTERS!!! get closer and fine people go to “jail”
I’m trying to keep “spirits” here UP with SONGS ALL can WAIL
NOBODY has much of a “voice” but it’s “effort” that counts
And THAT’s why Garth Brooks lyrics were SUNG, to THAT IT amounts
With SONG I’m making MY White House a “harmonious” whole
Treating ALL as honored “chorus members” is MY goal.

I want ALL here to be like ME and greet EACH day with SONG
Just like birds tweet WE ALL should tweet like I tweet ALL DAY LONG
To “dispel” sad “despondency” a SONG in EVERY “heart”
Is the BEST WAY that I can “think” of to make EACH day start
So raise your voices, everyone, for SINGING we MUST do
To prepare for the day that SING SING welcomes our whole crew.
